a good racket, price a little high for the type
Great paddle and great surface with tons of grit. I've only used it for a few sessions, but so far, so good. From the feedback I got from other players who typically use paddles costing over US$200, they couldn't believe how well and how similar it performed. Hoping the performance keeps up over time.
I like this paddle a lot. There aren't many reviews on it other than on this site so it was hard to get much information or compare it to other paddles.
I added lead tape to the top 2 corners and just below the top 2 corners. I did this to bring the sweet spot up a bit higher and for more power. Without the lead tape it did feel underpowered from the baseline, now I think it's fine. it has a generous sized sweet spot now I think. I haven't really tried too many other paddles so I couldn't tell you how it compares. It feels great at the kitchen for dinking, lots of control and the long handle gives me a bit of extra reach and I think even with the added tape my hands are a bit quicker at the kitchen. It is gritty which is great for spin.
Fast shipping! I placed order on 1/9 and received paddle on 1/15. I tried it this afternoon and played for about 2 hours. It feels very secure in hands. Dink play is very controllable and the level of spin is just what I wanted. Baseline shots are also powerful. It's an excellent well-rounded paddle! I highly recommend it to players at any level.
